I’m not gonna hop on my soapbox for long, but man there is nothing more frustrating than not being able to stick to schedule. So last week I had a few different reasons for not being able to workout…and now here I am again in the same predicament. My son and hubby were under the weather this past weekend, and Sunday afternoon…it started to hit me hard. So Monday and Tuesday I didn’t go to work. I am at work now, but that’s because I felt well enough to come and I didn’t want to use up my time if I could come to work. It’s not easy at all being at work sick, especially when you can’t breathe out of your nose, but hey, I can handle it. But what I can’t handle is working out when it’s a struggle to breathe. I’mcongested. It’s triggered my asthma…it’s not just a good look.
Two things have come out of me being sick this week…1 is an entirely separate blog post. I will see if I can work on that from work…and 2 is…I MUST get on SHAKEOLOGY!!! If you follow me on twitter you may have seen me post that I have been sick at least 2 days out of each month this year…that’s not good. Not good at all. I have to get my immune system on the up and up. It’s all a sequence of events…going back to the fall with my stomach troubles, loss of appetite, not eating regularly, therefore not getting much nutrients, which leads to me getting sick…it’s just a whole big cycle. A cycle that I need to stop right now because it’s just not healthy. I cannot afford to get sick every month because I’m not fueling my body with the nutrients it needs. So someway, somehow I’m getting Shakeology by end of April. It is an absolute must! To me that’s the easiest way for me to get all of my vitamins and nutrients, and it counts as a meal, and will give me more nutrition than any meal I could fix up. Honestly, I know the whole family needs it, so we must get it soon!!!
