Since it is officially August, I feel that I can unleash all the fall decor I’ve been finding! Not that I haven’t already, but at least now it’s more socially acceptable. Recently I was in Target (what else is new) and spotted some of the most gorgeous autumn colors! I’m sharing a quick roundup of some of the Target fall decor favorites I’ve found so far.

Everyone doesn’t have access to Kirkland’s or Hobby Lobby or Michael’s, but the majority of the country does have access to Target. If you love the Hearth & Hand by Magnolia line at Target, many of these items are from them and a couple are from Threshold.
Threshold is my personal favorite at Target. They can do no wrong in my book! But lately I’ve started coming around to the Hearth & Hand line.
WREATHES
At many craft stores or home decor stores, the wreathes are much more elaborate than these shown here. If that’s not your style, you’ll probably love these gorgeous options. I can’t decide which one I want more, I wish I could get them all! Whichever one I do end up with, I’m thinking will look lovely on my pantry door.
THROWS
One item that can make such a huge difference in ramping up the cozy factor is a nice, plush throw blanket. Not only do we tend to snuggle up in a throw blanket during the fall and winter months, but they add a lot to your fall decor. The perfect fall throw blanket brings in the colors of the season and adds texture. Can you have too many throw blankets? I think not!
FALL FLORAL
Target has some lovely fall floral options this year. You can get some that are sold as a unit, like this thistle and sedum arrangement or create your own with fall stems and picks. The amber glass vases are really popular this year! If you can’t score them at Target, these amber bud vases are a great alternative from Amazon.
GARLAND
These coordinating fall garlands from Target go with the autumn wreathes. You don’t have to have a fireplace mantle to use garland. You can add them to the top of a mirror or wall art. Or add them to your entertainment center. You can even add garland to the tops of your kitchen cabinets like I did with my Christmas garland last year.
FALL PILLOWS
Target has some beautiful and cozy pillows for fall this year. These are nice and huge too. Adding pillows is a great way, just like with throw blankets, to add both color and texture to a space. And you can add pillows to more places than just your sofa. A bedroom, in a basket, on the porch.
Target does have a few pumpkins available that I’ve linked below, but if you’re not so much into pumpkins then you can see how you can still decorate for fall with these fall decor finds. It’s all about bringing in the cozy and comfy feeling that says “hello fall”.
Typically Target brings out more of their traditional fall and Halloween decor later in the season. Fall seasonal decor can go pretty quickly though. I spotted a really cute golden wheat plant a few weeks back and knew that if I didn’t buy it then it would be gone. Sadly I was right. I haven’t seen it back in the store and it always shows sold out online. If I do see it back in stock I’ll add it to the sources below.
Believe it or not, I’ve already started decorating for Fall. It’s August now and I say do what makes you happy. Fall makes me happy. So that’s what I’m doing. 🙂
