I hope you’re ready to be inspired with some major house eye candy! Every year I’m excited to tour the new homes in this neighborhood during Parade of Homes. The Falls Retreat house definitely did not disappoint! Let me show you what makes this beautiful house so special.
There were so many people in this house, even with the social distancing. I got the best pictures I could but I wish I could have gotten more to share with you.
Fall’s Retreat has 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and has 4,690 square feet of living space. It’s in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Raleigh. At the time of viewing it was listed at $1.2 million.
Isn’t this house so unique and eye catching? When you look at the houses available to tour in the Parade of Homes book, they’re renderings or illustrations of the house. Let me tell you, they sold this house short in the book renderings. Driving up to this house you see how beautiful it is. Even my pictures can’t capture the magnitude of this home!
It’s the details for me. I mean, I could just sit and stare at this house for so long and still find more aspects to be in awe of. From the exterior to the interior, take note of all the custom details throughout the Falls Retreat house.

Walking into Fall’s Retreat, it’s a very open floorplan. The dining room is the first room you come into.
The home office is around the corner from the dining room and I love the windows! With it being on the corner you have windows on both sides of the wall and they’re stunning! I walked in and was like I could definitely get used to this!
The built ins are functional and beautiful. I would change the wallpaper personally but I don’t hate it. It’s very designer.

Walking into this kitchen I was like wow! It’s absolutely stunning right? But it’s so not me. It’s way too glamorous and extra but that’s why I love to tour houses like this.
What I do love about this kitchen is its sheer size. It’s huge! The vaulted ceiling with gable windows and skylight make the space feel even larger and brighter.
I like the led strip lighting along the floating shelves.
What do you think about this range hood?

The scullery features a pantry with a full sink and dishwasher.
Plus a microwdrawer and lots of additional storage…as if the kitchen isn’t large enough!
Here’s another view of the scullery
From this view you can see the dining room and the home office. And the elephant in the room…the live edge waterfall butlers pantry countertop.
Kinda funky huh? I don’t like it so much but it definitely makes a statement 🙂
The floating stars features cable and rail which helps to give it an open and airy feel.
The family room is pretty tame compared to the kitchen but it’s a nice balance. Open shelving continues into the family room from the kitchen.
There’s a house-wide covered porch on the back of the home.
A firepit is built in to this table which I tried to capture with my picture. It looked pretty cool in person. The mother in me doesn’t think that’s the safest or most practical idea 🙂
Love this side door to access the mudroom.
Of course the powder room is just as glamorous as the kitchen! And unique, I’ve never seen a drawer like that on the bottom of a sink. I guess it’s to allow for some storage since the vanity is floating. What really shines for me is the wallpaper and how it is perfect with the gold finishes.
The laundry room has it’s own personality featuring blue cabinetry and patterned tile.
The master suite is located on the first floor and has access to covered porch. It’s a very spacious bedroom but of course, the master bathroom is the showstopper. Let me show you…
Through the double doors you are transported into a true luxury spa-style bathroom that features a walk-through master shower. With marble tiling on the floors and backsplash along with black and gold finishes, this feels like a top tier hotel bathroom.
The bathtub is huge! Perfect for a long soak after a long day.
Or perhaps a steamy hot shower to wash the cares away. Could you ever get out of this shower? I don’t know if I could! Notice the unique rain head shower.
On the opposite side of the walk through shower is a very large bench with two niches to hold all the things.

That’s what I could show you but what I couldn’t show you was the guest bedroom located off of the entryway. It features it’s own attached bathroom and walk in closet.
The second floor features three bedrooms with a huge bonus room. There’s a walk up attic to take advantage of all the beautiful peaks and pitches in the roofline.
Even though I couldn’t take as many pictures as I’d like, I really hope you were still able to get an idea of how stunning this home is. To say it’s unique is an understatement. What was your favorite room in the Fall’s Retreat house? Mine was the home office! I just love those windows!
Thank you for spending some time with me touring Fall’s Retreat today. I enjoy sharing these homes with you 🙂
