It’s no secret that I love planning in my Erin Condren Life Planner. Something I’ve realized is that sometimes I just like to lay down planner stickers. It’s soothing in a weird way. I’m also a visualizer so sometimes it’s fun to plan a mock week of what I would be planning in my dream life. I know it sounds crazy!
Earlier in the year when we were stuck in the house due to snow and ice and more recently that I’m stuck at home recovering from surgery, it’s fun to mock plan. The thing is, I don’t like to plan my own weeks too far in advance. I don’t know what’s going to happen and things can come up that I didn’t plan for. So I prefer to only plan a week at a time, although I can admit that sometimes I’ll plan out a couple of weeks.
I’m not a planner girl on YouTube and I don’t have multiple planners. A lot of the YouTubers that I watch plan in their main planner, and they memory plan in another planner and some also plan in a personal planner. I can totally see planning in two planners if money was no object and/or I was making videos about it. But that’s not where I’m at in life, plus I really don’t have that much going on in my life. I also don’t have a planner sticker shop so I don’t need to lay down mock planner spreads to share on Instagram or to see a planner sticker kit come together.
What I did have were some blank weeks in some of my first Erin Condren planners. And I also had a few planner sticker kits that I would never use in my own planner. Put those two things together along with a little boredom and you have mock planner spreads. I figured I’d share them here and let you in on a little bit of my crazy. 🙂
GLAM PLANNER MYSTERY KITS
I shared before my thoughts on the Glam Planner Mystery Kits. These two kits were some of the first I received from the mystery kit and I wasn’t a fan. I did end up having some great kits from the subscription but I’ve since cancelled my subscription and when I want something that was a mystery kit, the odds are likely that they’ll come to her main shop eventually.
The colors in this kit are so vibrant. But I’m not a camper. I don’t ever see myself camping so I knew I would never use this kit. I did enjoy playing with it though. I actually really like the bottom washi. This Rustic Romance kit is still available in her shop here.
I love the patterns behind the heart checklists.

This was another mystery kit that I just didn’t love. Like at all. But that’s just me. If you like this kit it’s still in her shop here.
SIMPLY WATERCOLOR CO KITS
I discovered Simply Watercolor Co I think from someone’s YouTube video. I always order kits in matte if they are an option when it’s my first time shopping with that shop. I’ve ordered from this shop since that first order and shared that spread here, plus I recently received an order from her that I love. I just didn’t love the quality of these kits and knew that I probably wouldn’t ever use them. I thought about giving them away but if I didn’t like the quality why would I pass that on?
I can say that her paper quality has improved with her matte paper. I’m using something from her shop in my current planner spread so I’ll share that soon on the blog.
I love the colors in this kit! The soft purple and the teal just go so well together.
IT’S PLANNING TIME
The last shop I’m sharing a mock spread from is It’s Planning Time. I have had this kit for maybe two years, if not two it’s been over one. I just never used it. Her kits come with so many options.
Like I said I know it’s a totally random post to share but I just love planning in my planner. Every week isn’t about decor and making things pretty. Some weeks are strictly functional. But there’s something very cathartic about laying down my planner stickers. If you plan with planner sticker kits you know what I mean 😉
As always I appreciate you for spending some time with me today! Please subscribe to my emails below to stay up with my latest posts. Until next time friends 🙂
